Over 1100 Attendees Attend VERICUT User Groups World-wide
![]() User Groups Introduce Users to New Version of VERICUT Software (Irvine, California – September 1, 2006) – In coordination with the release of VERICUT 6.0, CGTech has hosted 36 VERICUT User’s Exchange (VUE) events worldwide in 2006. Thus far, more than 1,100 people have attended a VUE in the US, Canada, UK, France, Germany, Italy, Australia, New Zealand, Korea, China, Taiwan, India and soon: Japan. In addition to learning about new features, attendees have had the opportunity to express ideas about the future direction of the software and have received guidance on transitioning to the new version. ‘Due to global competitive pressures on our customers CGTech is increasingly challenged to simulate more complex processes and more complex machines,” said Product Marketing Manager Bill Hasenjaeger. ‘The VUEs give us the opportunity to quickly demonstrate how VERICUT 6.0 ties these complex processes together with the ability to simulate multiple setups in a single simulation session.” One of the easiest ways to transition to VERICUT 6.0’s multiple setup feature is to utilize one of the updated CAD/CAM interfaces. The coordinate systems defined in the CAD/CAM software are used to locate models for each setup. Interfaces are available for Pro/E, Unigraphics, CATIA V5, CATIA V4, Mastercam and EdgeCAM.
