Position: Software Developer

JOB DESCRIPTION

Software Engineer is responsible for and is involved in the design, programming and development of VERICUT software.

• The ideal candidate will have:
• Strong proficiency in Java, C, C++, and mechanical CAD/CAM programming
• Experience with GUI and computer graphics
• Solid understanding of 3D concepts
• Strong math skills and background
• Excellent problem-solving, software design, coding, testing, and debugging skills
• Bachelor’s of Science degree in Physics, Math or related field

• CAD/CAM industry experience

 

Position: Technical Support Engineer 
Hours: Full-time
Locations: Singapore, & India x2 (Pune & Bangalore)

• Provide technical support to end-user customers, sales engineers, and marketing partners
• Instruct VERICUT training classes
• Travel to and conduct on-site training and consulting at customer sites
• Assist end-users in maximizing benefits and implementation of VERICUT software
• Log and track software change requests

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Motivated self-starter
• Team-player
• Enjoys traveling
• Practical working experience in NC programming
• CAD/CAM experience and knowledge
• Proficiency with Microsoft Windows and MS Office applications
• Good communication skills

In addition to the above, the following qualifications are desirable but not required:

• Recent experience with VERICUT
• Practical working CAD/CAM experience with emphasis on CAM expertise in CATIA, NX, and/or Pro/Engineer
• Knowledge of and experience with UNIX
• BS in Mechanical Engineering or related field

 

Position: Product Marketing
Hours: Full-time
Location: Irvine, California

JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsible for product planning and execution throughout the product lifecycle, and ensure that the product supports the company’s overall business strategy and goals.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead credible discussions with end-user customers and customer management
• Gather and prioritize product and customer requirements
• Define the product strategy and roadmap
• Effectively communicate requirements with software developers and management
• Develop and manage market sizing, market and competitive analysis
• Support sales and technical support engineers on product related questions
• Create presentations and speak credibly at trade shows and symposiums
• Represent CGTech in a professional and knowledgeable manner
• Act as a software technology resource to industry organizations and publications
• Monitor industry trends that indicate the need for new products and services

QUALIFICATIONS

• Proven experience in project management, marketing, and managing engineers
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Able to clearly describe, both in writing and verbally, complex technical topics to both technical and non-technical groups of people of all sizes
• Significant broad industry experience as a manufacturing engineer with experience in various fabrication techniques — specifically CNC programming, machining, and tooling.
• Direct CAD/CAM software experience in product development, sales and support roles
• Proficiency with Microsoft Windows and MS Office applications
• BS in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Some travel is required

In addition to the above, the following qualifications are desirable but not required:

• Recent experience with VERICUT
• Physics, Mathematics and Computer Science background
• BS in Mechanical Engineering or related field
